Following the recent tragic deaths of two Canadian soldiers at the hands of domestic terrorists, who both appeared to be seeking to assist the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS), some Canadians might feel that our country should quit the international coalition confronting ISIS.

In October and November 2013, three Kurdish political prisoners, Shirkoo Moarefi, Habibolah Golpariopur and Reza Ismaili were executed on charges of “acting against national security” in Kurdistan. Sixteen Baluchi prisoners were also speedily executed in Baluchistan. In all cases, the victims’ attorneys had not even been notified of the planned executions.

Iranian regime authorities in Iran hanged 16 prisoners Saturday in response to deadly overnight clashes between Baluchi armed groups and border security forces in southeast Iran province pf Baluchistan, the semi-official Fars news agency, affiliated to country’s Revolutionary Guards reported.
